Responsibilities

Unit Coordinator/MHT - Outpatient

Clive Behavioral Health West opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources. 

 


Qualifications

Position Summary

 

Performs general clerical, secretarial, and unit clerk duties in accordance with established procedures of Clive Behavioral Health. Required to display a professional attitude in all aspects of his/her performance.

 

Shift - 3:30-8:30pm; Monday - Thursday 

 

 

Mental Health Technician Unit Coordinator Requirements:

 

  •  Maintains supply and accuracy of all forms and patient packets.

  •  

     Effectively communicates with patients, family members, co-workers and any contacts in   a professional and courteous manner.

  •  

     Answers phone within 3 rings and directs calls and messages appropriately.

  •  

     Accurately analyzes, interprets and transcribes physician orders.

  •  

     Files information accurately within the medical record/hospital filing system.

  •  

     Ensures Releases of Information are faxed in a timely basis while maintaining HIPAA and   Clive protocol.

  •  

     Completes the Census form daily for accuracy.

  •  

     Ensures employees in department have a mailbox and removes termed employee mailboxes.

  •  

     Assists Supervisor with clerical support to assure needs of unit are satisfied.

  •  

     Performs various other duties as assigned or requested.
