Description

Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dining Room Attendant to join our restaurant team. As a Dining Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests as they enter the dining room and assists with escorting them to their tables.
  • Assists with seating arrangements and special requests.
  • Able to meet operating policies and procedures along with following all Health Department and FDA standards and regulations. 
  • Clears and resets tables in a timely manner.
  • Refills beverages and assists servers with food delivery.
  • Monitors and restocks supplies in the dining room, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils.
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary dining room environment, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down tables and chairs.
  • Works in the back-of-house separating dishware. 
  • Keeps server side stations, expo kitchen line, the dessert station and toaster station, including equipment, floors and drains clean.
  • Responsible for using proper safety procedures when cleaning equipment and using chemicals. 
  • Handles all china, glass, and silver with care to eliminate breakage.
  • Stays in communication with management regarding concerns, issues or questions.
  • Interact with all people in a professional, friendly and courteous manner at all times.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Assists with any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications/Education/Experience

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid Food Handler Card and RBS certification as a pre-requisite to being extended a job offer and maintain valid certifications throughout the course of employment.
  • Must successfully complete Title 31 training within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a valid Gaming License from Augustine Gaming Commission.
  • 1-2 years of experience working as a beverage server or food server in a high-volume restaurant, bar or casino is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills is required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong English communication skills required to interact with guests, team members, and vendors.
  • Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • This position may require overtime.
