Houskeeper 

  • Full-time; Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 

  • Starting pay: $15.16-16.50/hr. depending on experience.

About the Role:   

As a Housekeeper at The Winslow, you will: 

  • Clean resident rooms and toilets, shower rooms, tub rooms, public toilets, halls, dining areas, and sitting areas. Dust all areas, polish metalwork, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area.  

  • Sweep and scrub floors, clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.  

  • Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.  

  • Load housekeeping carts with supplies and follow the recommended list for stocking. 

  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.  

  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Report structural and equipment wear, defects, and malfunctions to the supervisor. Report supply and equipment needs to the supervisor.  

  • Help serve food trays in the dining room if applicable.  

  

What We're Looking For:  

Experience and Education:   

  • At least 17 years of age.   

  • Some high-school education.  

  • Preferably at least one month of related experience.   

Skills:   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one or group settings.   

  • Ability to do basic mathematical skills.   

Attributes:   

  • Strong attention to detail.   

  • Self-motivated  

  • Positive attitude.   

  • Passionate about helping others.  

  • Ability to multi-task.   

  

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $15.16 - $16.50/hr. DOE
