Position Summary
The Warehouse and Inventory Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving and inventory management. This role ensures the efficient execution of daily inbound and outbound activities while meeting customer inventory accuracy, operational KPI's, and daily attainment of inbound receipts and outbound shipments, driving performance through effective leadership, process discipline, and continuous improvement.Â
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and manage all warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, inventroy control, order fulfillment, and shipping.Â
- Ensure daily execution meets or exceeds customer inbound receipt targets and outbound shipment schedules.
- Establish and communicate operational goals tied to customer commitments and internal KPI's.Â
Shipping & Receiving Ownership
- Oversee all inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and damge-free handling of goods.
- Ensure proper scheduling, dock management, and coordination with carriers and customers.
Inventory Management & Accuracy
- Maintain full ownership of inventory integrity and accuracy, including cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Customer KPI Ownership
- Own and manage KPI's including inventory accuracy, on-time receiving, on-time shipping, and order accuracy.Â
- Monitor performance daily and implement corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Safety & Quality Compliance:
- Enforce all safety protocols and lead incident investigations
- Ensure adherence to customer quality standards.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Â
Requirements:
- Experience leading warehouse operations with responsibility for shipping, receiving, and inventroy control.
- Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to manage customer KPI's and service metrics.
- Experience with Nulogy PackManager Software (Is a plus)
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3-5 years of warehouse leadership experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Exposure to warehouse environment with moving equipment
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift
- May be required to work weekends, holidays, or extended shifts during peak periods
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
