What you'll do:
As an Optometrist at this thriving Cochranton practice, you'll enjoy a rewarding and varied workday, providing compassionate care for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Each day brings new opportunities, from performing routine exams for children to addressing age-related vision changes and managing complex eye conditions. With access to advanced technology, including Pachymeter, Tonopen, HFA Visual Fields with Liquid Lens, Olleyes Visual Fields Tester, and OCT, you'll ensure accurate diagnoses and customized treatment plans. This full-time role requires a minimum of 36 working hours per week, with the possibility to take on additional hours if desired. Typically, you'll see one patient per hour. You will be part of a cooperative team of opticians and administrative professionals, all committed to providing smooth and exceptional care for every patient during their visit.
Who you are:
You're highly skilled and capable of confidently handling a diverse range of patients with varying visual needs and age groups. The ideal candidate can manage patients from 9 months old through end of life and has experience in cataract co-management. You thrive in a collaborative setting, working alongside a team of talented professionals, to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to a positive work culture. A strong commitment to continuous learning, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others are essential qualities as you will play a vital role in the continued success and expansion of the business.
