SUMMARY OF POSITIONÂ
Join our team as an Engineering Technician III, where you’ll take a lead role in producing high-quality Civil 3D designs and supporting complex roadway and utility projects across the City. In this senior technical position, you’ll prepare construction plans, perform field inspections, complete engineering calculations, and collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project partners. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Â
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEÂ
Â
Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, CADD or related field Â
Five (5) years' experience in civil engineering, electrical engineering, engineering technology, construction inspection, or utility projectsÂ
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.  Â
Â
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSÂ
Valid driver's license.Â
Obtain Flagger Certification within six (6) months of hire and maintain for duration in position.Â

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:Â Â
Recent civil design experience using Civil3d to produce utility and roadway construction plans consistent with City standards and best engineering practices. Â
