POSITION SUMMARY

The Help Desk Technician I shall provide superior quality, competitive value, and outstanding service by servicing all organization technologies and providing technology support and

Ā training. Primary duties include operating the IT Help Desk ticketing system in a timely manner with a strong focus on customer service.


GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

•  Ā Ā High school diploma or equivalent.

•  Ā Ā Associate Degree in information technology or relevant field

•  Ā Ā No prior experience in information technology is required.

•  Ā Ā Hands-on experience gained through personal IT projects or online learning platforms (e.g., Home Lab, TryHackMe, HackTheBox).

•  Ā Ā Certification (CompTIA, OffSec, TCM, Google, or EC-Council)Ā 


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

•  Ā Ā Customer service experience regardless of industry

•  Ā Ā Strong verbal and written communication skills

•  Ā Ā Detail oriented and strong organizational skills

•  Ā Ā Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills

•  Ā Ā Excellent written and verbal communication skillsĀ 


PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•  Ā Ā Provide Tier 1 Help Desk support

•  Ā Ā Provide hands-on assistance to IT team members

•  Ā Ā Provides basic desktop support: Troubleshoots Email, Office Productivity SoftwareĀ 

•  Ā Ā Provides support to the System Administrator, Security Analyst, and other technicians on security and/or network issues – lower tier support

•  Ā Ā Trains staff on software use

•  Ā Ā Provides after-hours support as needed

•  Ā Ā Prepares necessary presentation materials as required

•  Ā Ā Ensures project deadlines are maintained

•  Ā Ā Provides administrative support as needed

•  Ā Ā Undertakes project tasks as required

•  Ā Ā Performs other related duties as requested
