SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Program Manager to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Digital Transformation and Maintenance Modernization (DTAMM) program. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located in Cape Canaveral, FL.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the management team assigned to Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD 45 aka Eastern Range (ER)) in the planning, execution, and completion of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Eastern Range Lead will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills.
 

Job Responsibilities:
•    Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
•    Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
•    Coordinate and lead project activities across multiple business units ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
•    Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
•    Identify and manage project risks and issues.
•    Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary, keeping stakeholders informed of any significant changes.
•    Oversee project team members, providing direction and support as needed.
•    Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
•    Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
