We are looking for a Shop Technician to join a fast-paced operational team where no two days are the same. Combining hands-on technical work with logistics support, you'll play a vital role in keeping equipment maintained, repaired, and delivered on time to support customer projects. From fault-finding and preventative maintenance to equipment deliveries and vehicle management, you'll help ensure operations run safely, efficiently, and without delay.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment to ensure reliability and operational readiness.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime and support customer requirements.
  • Delivering and collecting equipment, products, and materials from customers and vendors while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Operating company vehicles and trailers safely, ensuring compliance with DOT requirements and company procedures.
  • Supporting shipping, receiving, and general workshop activities to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and coordinating servicing and maintenance to ensure fleet readiness.
  • Assisting colleagues across the workshop and logistics functions to meet operational priorities and deadlines.
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism in all activities

 

What you'll bring:

  • Qualification in a mechanical or technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance, repair, fault-finding, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of safe vehicle operation with a demonstrated track record of responsible driving.
  • Experience operating forklift, flatbed dually vehicles and gooseneck trailers up to 40ft.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet changing operational demands.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Professional attitude with a willingness to support the wider team and take ownership of tasks.
