Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll use your clinical skills, nursing knowledge, and caring heart to support our mission of wellness, dignity, and comfort for every resident. What You'll Do:

  • Provide hands-on nursing care in accordance with scope of practice
  • Collaborate with RNs and physicians during rounds and care planning
  • Coordinate care and communicate changes to residents' families and team members
  • Administer medications and treatments, and monitor for effectiveness
  • Review and implement physician orders; assist in emergencies, including CPR
  • Document all care accurately and timely in the medical record
  • Complete admission documentation and assist in discharge planning
  • Ensure safe, clean, and well-stocked medication and treatment carts
  • Participate in medication management and pharmacy communications
  • Follow up on consultant visits and implement recommendations
  • Supervise Medication Aides/Techs during medication administration
  • Support audits and assist with quality improvement efforts

Requirements

Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing or LPN Program


Licenses/Certification

Current RN or LPN Licensure in the State employed.

Valid CPR Certification.


Experience

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
