CIF Food Production

Cape Island Foods has openings in our food manufacturing facility producing / packaging peanut butter and related items.

• Have reliable transportation and be available to work a flexible schedule, primarily Mon-Fri, hours may vary.
• Must work well in a Team Orientated atmosphere.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
• Operate food processing equipment and machinery to blend or process ingredients.
• Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for compliance with quality standards, identifying and removing defective items.
• Package, label, and seal food products in accordance with company specifications.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and containers to maintain a safe and clean production environment.
• Record production and test data for ingredients, product batches, and production times, ensuring traceability.
• Coordinate with other team members to manage the efficient flow of materials and products through the production line.
• Perform minor maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure continuous operation of the production line
