Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team! As a Maintenance manager, you will be directly supporting the maintenance department in its daily operations. This can include delegating activities to ensure everything gets done in a timely manner, creating performance reviews for staff, training new employees on safety procedures and standards, and regular inspections of all equipment. The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing environment, experience managing a team, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities 
  • Delegate the day-to-day tasks of the management staff to meet current needs and prevent maintenance issues
  • Train all new staff to ensure compliance and proper working knowledge of the position, and coach current employees to ensure standards are met
  • Inspect all equipment on a regular basis
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance and changes as needed
  • Foster a safe, positive working environment
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a management role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to perform maintenance operations
  • Familiarity with computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
