Job DetailsJob Location: Ackerman Nolan - Colfax, WA 99111Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $35.00 HourlyResidential & Light Commercial HVAC Installer  Position Summary  HVAC Installers are responsible for the proper installation of HVAC systems while delivering high-level customer experience. This role goes beyond installation; it includes identifying opportunities to improve system performance, educating homeowners, and offering memberships and system enhancements that add value to the customer.  Key Responsibilities  Installation & Technical Work  Install residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork   Replace and retrofit existing systems to meet current codes and company standards   Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards   Test systems for proper operation and performance before job completion   Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites   Customer Experience  Communicate clearly with homeowners throughout the installation process   Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and efficiency   Deliver a professional, respectful, and solution-oriented experience in the home   Membership Offering  Present and explain company maintenance membership program to homeowners   Communicate the benefits (priority service, discounts, system longevity, etc.)   Offer membership at time of install and assist customer with enrollment   Accurately document membership opportunities and outcomes   System Enhancements & Add-On Sales  Identify and recommend system enhancements based on customer needs, such as:   Indoor air quality products (air purifiers, UV lights, humidifiers)   Smart thermostats   Zoning systems   Surge protection   Educate the customer on benefits, not just features   Present options confidently without being pushy   Coordinate with office/sales team to finalize upgrades when needed   Team Coordination  Work closely with sales, service, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth job execution   Communicate any job changes, issue, or upsell opportunities   Support overall company goals for revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction   Performance Expectations (KPIs)  Installation quality and callback rate   Job completion efficiency and timeliness   Membership conversion rate   Revenue generated from enhancements/add-ons   Customer satisfaction scores and reviews   Qualifications  2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (preferred)   Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills   Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation best practices   EPA certification (required)   Gas fitters license  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record   Compensation Structure   Hourly wage based on experience   Performance incentives for:   Membership sales   System enhancements sold   Customer satisfaction (5-star reviews)  What Success Looks Like in This Role  A successful installer doesn’t just “put equipment in.” They:  Take pride in clean, high-quality installs   Build trust with homeowners   Create additional value on every job   Contribute to company growth through memberships and enhancements  Qualifications
