You’ll work closely with the operations team on a set of recurring responsibilities, along with additional support tasks as needed. This role is best suited for someone who is organized, dependable, and follows through.

What You’ll Do

You’ll support a range of operational tasks across the business:

Office Operations

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Keep the office organized and running smoothly
  • Coordinate basic office needs (supplies, setup, logistics)

IT Equipment & Logistics

  • Ship laptops and equipment to new hires
  • Coordinate returns from offboarding employees
  • Track inventory and maintain accurate records

Onboarding Support

  • Help prepare new hires for day one (equipment, access, coordination)
  • Support onboarding checklists and internal tracking

Client Reporting Support

  • Help coordinate the Rackner Fellowship (internship) program
  • Support scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day needs

Operations & Administrative Support

  • Execute tasks from the Operations Board in Monday.com
  • Assist with invoicing support and basic data tracking
  • Help maintain internal documentation and file organization
  • Support occasional event logistics and travel coordination

Marketing Support (Light)

  • Assist with drafting and scheduling LinkedIn posts or blog content as needed

What Success Looks Like

  • Work is completed accurately and on time without frequent follow-up
  • Onboarding, equipment logistics, and office coordination run smoothly
  • Client-facing documents are clear, well-formatted, and accurate
  • Day-to-day operational tasks stay organized and on track
  • Issues are identified early and communicated clearly

What We’re Looking For

  • 0–3 years of experience in operations, administration, or coordination
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in-person and handling logistical tasks
  • Able to manage assigned responsibilities and follow through reliably
  • Able to clearly communicate and format information in documents and email
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Able to work full-time in-office (College Park, MD)

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to federal contracting or regulated environments
  • Experience with tools like Monday.com (or similar)
  • Experience with onboarding logistics or equipment tracking
  • Familiarity with invoicing or basic financial processes
  • Light experience with social media or content coordination

Who This Role Is a Good Fit For

  • Someone who wants exposure to how operations work inside a growing company
  • Someone who prefers structured, tangible work with clear ownership
  • Someone who takes pride in being dependable and keeping things organized

Who This Role May Not Be a Fit For

  • Candidates looking for a primarily remote role
  • Candidates focused on strategy, program management, or leadership positions
  • Candidates who prefer loosely structured work without routine responsibilities
