Job Description Summary

Organization's Summary Statement:

Major Responsibilities: Responsible for working with a team to develop and conduct microbial food safety research related to genomics, machine learning, and bioinformatics; record and publish research findings; prepare and submit research reports and proposals; monitor progress of activities and ensure that timelines and deliverables are achieved.

Required Qualifications: PhD in food science, animal science, plant science, public health, bioinformatics, or a related field

Physical Demands of the Position: Physical activities expected from this individual are mostly limited to working at a computer, attending meetings, or any necessary routine microbial/molecular sampling and tests in the laboratory.
