Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Compliance in COLLEGE PARK, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate and residential locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to tenants, residents, and visitors. Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential and commercial property areas, including building exteriors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
