We are looking for team members who are ready to be empowered to go above and beyond.   Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Executive Housekeeper      JOB SUMMARY Responsible for cleaning and servicing guestrooms to cleanliness and presentation standards. Duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing amenities, vacuuming, dusting, and reporting maintenance or guest concerns. Room Attendants are eligible for a pay-per-room incentive program, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on productivity and quality standards.      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS   Clean and service assigned guestrooms according to hotel’s cleanliness and quality standards. Make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and replenish guestroom amenities and supplies. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and special cleaning needs. Inspect guestrooms to ensure all areas are clean, organized, and properly presented. Report maintenance issues, damages, missing items, and guest concerns to the appropriate Supervisor or Manager. Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and efficiently. Keep housekeeping carts, closets, and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked. Follow proper procedures for handling guest belongings, lost and found items, and hotel property.        Physical Requirements   The physical requirements may include but not be limited to: Standing/Walking: Frequently. Walking up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet.  Crouching (Bend at knees): Frequently. While cleaning guest rooms and making beds. Stooping (Bend at waist): Frequently. While cleaning guest rooms and making beds. Twisting (Knees/waist/Neck): Frequently. Loading and unloading linen. Climbing Ladders: Occasionally. Climbing to the top shelves in linen rooms. Reaching (Overhead/extension): Frequently. Linen shelves Handling/Grasping: Frequently. Handling linen, trash, and guest cleaning supplies. Pushing/Pulling: Frequently. Pushing supply carts. Average weight frequently 50 lbs.  Lifting/Carrying: Average weight frequently 20 lbs.   Working Environment Interior: Interior: To include guestrooms, meeting space, storage closets, lobby, laundry areas; variety of surfaces/textures. Exterior: Exposure to variety of elements based on weather conditions (heat/cold/rain/wind/ice) QualificationsBASICS Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas Display courteous behavior with guests and team members Report any unsafe conditions immediately Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition Attend required meetings Follow company policies and procedures Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor Follow company dress code Complete all company training materials by the deadline      CANDIDATE PROFILE Previous housekeeping room attendant experience required Communicate effectively with others Works productively with a team Effective multitasking skills Composure and patience under pressure Skilled in working with multiple computer programs- Must be comfortable using devices to communicate with team members and to complete checklists daily (i.e. Alice system.)
