                                                                                                      DEPOSIT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST I

                                                                                                                  LOCATION: College Station, TX 

 Summary

Responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Operations Team. 

Assists banking centers and clients with resolving operational and client issues. Researches and resolves problems using various resources.


 Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Monitors and works “Account Services” emails and “service events”
  • Handles client issues that are CIF and deposit related
  • Works with and monitors various reports including CIF, new accounts, CDs, closed accounts, fee waivers, large dollar returns, Reg CC, Reg D and others as needed
  • Works with and processes Exception Processing items: non-post, overdraft, and deposit item returns
  • Balancing general ledger accounts, assists with buying and selling foreign currency as well as foreign collection items, and other products and services as needed
  • Monitoring and documenting fraudulent account activity
  • Processing adjustments and discrepancy’s
  • Processes lockbox and other client services
  • Provided support to various departments 
  • Scanning and input of client information
  • Ensuring compliance with all deposit related regulations
  • Additional duties that may be assigned from time to time

 Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • One or more years banking experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Knowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations state and federal.
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Position will require flexible hours from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. daily and on occasion weekends will be required.
