   Deposit Operations Specialist II

Location: BCS Momentum Plaza


Summary

Responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Operations Team. 

Assists banking centers and clients with resolving operational and client issues. Researches and resolves problems using various resources.

 Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Monitors and works “Account Services” emails and “service events”
  • Reviews our fraud detection system for any suspicious or fraudulent activity  
  • Handles client issues that are CIF and deposit related
  • Works with and monitors various reports including: CIF, new accounts, CDs, closed accounts, fee waivers, large items, Reg CC, Reg D and others as needed
  • Works with and processes non-post items, overdraft items and deposit item returns
  • Balances general ledger accounts, assists with buying and selling foreign currency as well as foreign collection items, and other products and services as needed
  • Assist with tracking and documentation on legal items
  • Processes lockbox and other client services
  • Scanning and input of client information
  • Ensuring compliance with all deposit related regulations
  • Additional duties that may be assigned from time to time

 Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Three or more years banking experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Interpretation of Bank policies and procedures to correctly assist/guide internal clients
  • Attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with different types of banking software
  • Knowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and state and federal banking regulations.
  • Position will require flexible hours from 8:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. daily and rotated schedule for Saturday hours 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
