Maintenance Technician/Custodian

School Maintenance Support

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19426
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm Year-Round
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Job Description:
We are looking for a handy-man type professional to support light maintenance services in a private school environment. Some light janitorial support to full and part-time cleaning crews may be expected from client. 

Responsibilities:

• GENERAL OPERATIONS Handle inquiries and task requests from the client Clean debris or accidental messes Setup and Breakdown chairs, tables, and light furniture as needed Keep utility closets and equipment clean and organized Help coordinate schedules of project work. Communicate site issues or changes Communicate supply needs to FSM Find/develop resources for teams as needed.

  Maintenance  Minor Repair/Maintenance  of onsite property or equipment Manage vendors as appropriate at direction of client Manage resources as directed by the client Minor groundskeeping Minor carpentry work

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred 

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to pass a Federal background check and school clearance requirements.
