Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Collierville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter incidents while supporting smooth operations. Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor authorizations, delivery appointments, and credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, visitor activity, and inbound and outbound traffic to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
