This role ensures that materials are available for production and distribution in a timely manner, contributing to the smooth operation of the company's supply chain and production processes. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and packing lists. - Safely and efficiently transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. - Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy. - Collaborate with the production team to ensure materials are available for manufacturing processes. - Prepare and package materials for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards. - Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing material handling tasks. - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material handling activities. - Identify and report any discrepancies or issues related to inventory or material handling to management. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent is required. Required Experience: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. - Experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, is preferred. - Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes is advantageous.
