What You’ll Do: Safely restrain patients using low-stress handling techniques Obtain and document accurate patient histories Review referral records, diagnostics, and imaging Coordinate scheduling and support daily surgical workflow Admit and discharge patients according to hospital protocols Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Prepare estimates, enter charges, and ensure accurate invoicing Assist with diagnostic testing and recheck appointments Support operating room setup, patient preparation, and anesthetic induction Maintain aseptic technique and organized surgical spaces Collaborate with surgical and specialty teams for seamless care What We’re Looking For: Experience Minimum of 1 year in a veterinary assistant role Surgical experience preferred Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in canine and feline handling and restraint Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures Excellent communication and client service skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Calm, professional demeanor under pressure Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of care Schedule Options: Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Tuesday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM What We Offer: We support our team so they can do their best work.
