Sales & Business DevelopmentÂ
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, social media, research, and outbound outreach.Â
- Generate and maintain an active pipeline of prospective advertisers and business opportunities.Â
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, social media, networking, and in-person outreach.Â
- Build relationships with local business owners and decision-makers throughout the Capital Region.Â
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client goals, challenges, and marketing objectives.Â
- Assist in the development and presentation of customized advertising and marketing recommendations.Â
- Participate in new business development initiatives and community networking events.Â
- Build confidence in presenting ideas and developing relationships with business owners and decision-makers.Â
- Develop prospecting, sales, and relationship-building skills while working toward individual business development goals.Â
Â
Account Management & Client SupportÂ
- Support Account Executives in managing client relationships and advertising campaigns.Â
- Assist with preparing proposals, presentations, client communications, and sales materials.Â
- Serve as a point of contact for designated clients and help ensure a positive customer experience.Â
- Participate in client meetings, campaign reviews, and strategic discussions.Â
- Help identify opportunities for account growth, retention, and cross-platform marketing solutions.Â

Digital Marketing & Campaign DevelopmentÂ
- Collaborate with Digital Operations, Creative Services, and Sales teams to develop integrated marketing strategies.Â
- Gain hands-on exposure to digital advertising products including Connected TV (CTV), OTT, social media advertising, video advertising, search marketing, programmatic display, retargeting, and audience targeting solutions.Â
- Assist with campaign launches, monitoring, optimization efforts, and performance reporting.Â
- Learn how digital, streaming, broadcast, and creative solutions work together to drive measurable results for clients.Â

Analytics & Professional DevelopmentÂ
- Review campaign performance metrics and assist in developing recommendations that improve client results.Â
- Utilize reporting and campaign insights to support client retention and renewal strategies.Â
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and sales systems.Â
- Participate in ongoing sales training, digital certification opportunities, and professional development programs.Â
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and media sales.Â
Qualifications
Required QualificationsÂ
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, advertising, business development, or digital media.Â
- Excellent written and oral English language communication skills, relationship-building, and organizational skills.Â
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.Â
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Â
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.Â
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Â
- Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate computer keys and general office equipment (telephone, copier, etc.). Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, marketing, advertising, retail, hospitality, or business development.Â
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.Â
- Exposure to digital marketing, social media advertising, analytics, or related technologies.Â
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred but not required.Â
