Position Overview:

Yankee Home is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Window Measure Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is critical to our process, ensuring post-sale window and door measurements are accurate for seamless order fulfillment and installation. If you have strong measurement skills and experience in the window/door industry—but are looking for fewer hours—we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Perform precise post-sale measurements of residential window and door openings
Accurately document all required installation details for product ordering
Communicate technical information clearly to internal teams
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure timelines are met
Travel to customer homes within a 2-hour radius of Albany, NY
Maintain a professional and respectful presence in client homes

Requirements

5+ years of experience in window and door measurement or installation
Strong understanding of residential window/door construction and dimensions
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Good communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift light equipment, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
