Job DetailsJob Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80916Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.50 - $22.90 Hourly   Who We Are A tuition-free, open enrollment, K-12 charter school in the southeast community of Colorado Springs Preparing and empowering all of our students for success on their post-graduate paths through educational excellence, character development, and community engagement Dedicated to student proficiency through academic rigor and robust family support through the Atlas family scholarship Dedicated to our staff through offering a competitive total rewards package and providing meaningful professional development Who We Serve 92% Socioeconomically Disadvantaged 86% Hispanic, 6% African American, 7% White, and 1% Asian 56% English Language Learners What You’ll Do Front Office Support & Communication Support daily front office operations and coverage during peak times, staff absences, and lunch breaks Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and provide timely follow-up communication Greet and assist visitors, families, and staff with professionalism and strong customer service Provide accurate translation and interpretation for meetings, calls, and written materials as needed Share school information clearly and accurately with families and the public Student & Office Administration Support student recruitment, conferences, and check-in processes Maintain student files and ensure FERPA compliance Track and file attendance-related documentation, including doctor’s notes Assist with managing staff calendars for meetings Fulfill uniform orders and payments using established systems Operations & Office Environment Monitor and restock office and staff lounge supplies Support general office operations, cleanliness, and organization Assist with maintaining order in the front office by supporting appropriate visitor flow Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information Safety & Compliance Support school safety by ensuring proper visitor check-in and ID verification procedures Follow all Atlas Schools policies and procedures Additional Duties Provide general administrative support as needed Participate in school events, enrollment efforts, and special projects as needed Perform other duties as assigned Compensation & Schedule  Hourly/Non-Exempt $19.50 - $22.90 per hour (DOE) Full Time; Monday - Friday; ~40 hours per week; Occasional evenings as necessary for events Benefits Approximately 6 weeks of school breaks Please note hourly positions are not annualized at Atlas and compensation is based upon actual hours worked. 64 hours of annual flex time and 48 hours of annual sick time  Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account Participation in the Colorado PERA retirement program (required in lieu of social security as a public employee) 100% Employer paid short and long-term disability benefit  100% Employer-paid life insurance benefit of $25,000 (option to purchase more) Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program Access to thousands of employee discounts Annual Calendar and Start Date 223 work days per academic year Start Date: July 6, 2026 QualificationsWho You Are    Required Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish & English) High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be able to pass required background screening pursuant to CRS § § 22-30.5-110.7 Ability to work in-person Monday through Friday, with availability for evenings during conference weeks Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills  Must be proficient within Microsoft Office and Google Workspace  Must have the ability to remain composed under stressful situations  Desired Qualifications:  1-year experience within a school setting, especially within a front office  Previous experience in representing a business to customers/members of the public Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, with frequent use of hands for typing and office tasks Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish in person, over the phone, and through electronic systems in a fast-paced environment Regular movement throughout and between buildings, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds occasionally (supplies or office materials) Ability to access all areas of the school building and comply with all safety and operational policies Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this role.   Position Closes: When Filled
