Responsibilities
As a Coax Splicer Trainee, you will develop new skills, work in a safe-minded environment, and join us in expanding technology for a better community. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you’re up for the challenge. Â

In addition, you will:Â
- Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cableÂ
- Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity Â
- Utilize RF Meters and TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometers)Â
- Read CATV telecommunication design and printsÂ
- Work in outdoor utility construction sitesÂ
Qualifications
About You:Â
- Safety is a part of your day-to-dayÂ
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of qualityÂ
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your workÂ
- You are looking for long-term projectsÂ
- You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team Â
- You have experience in CATV installation or other telecom experience Â
- You are comfortable working on a ladder or bucket truck Â
- You are flexible and enjoy a variety of shifts with overtime Â
- You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes (Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record)Â
MOS Codes B05A, 3D157, 6423, B05A, and 5699 relate well to this position.Â

Compensation of $20-$25 per hour, depending on the experience.Â
