This isn't a "desk-only" role. We are looking for a Working Manager who can mentor a team, drive complex migrations, and act as the "Second-in-Command" to our executive technology leadership. Your Impact Player-Coach Leadership: Directly supervise and mentor help desk and technical staff. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to solve high-level tickets or troubleshoot a server alongside your team. Infrastructure Ownership: Act as the primary lead for network and hardware reliability across multiple distinct business entities. Strategic Deputy: Serve as the 2nd in command for the department. You will have the authority and expertise to provide oversight and maintain security protocols in the absence of the CIO/CISO. High-Stakes Project Management: Lead system migrations, security audits, and hardware refreshes from conception to completion. You are the person who ensures nothing falls through the cracks. 24/7 Reliability: In a world of digital finance, downtime is not an option. You will manage the responsiveness of our systems to ensure we remain "always on." What You Bring 7+ Years of IT Experience: At least 3 years in a supervisory or technical lead role. Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on experience in server administration, network architecture, and hardware maintenance. Start-Up Agility: The ability to pivot between the structured environment of a financial institution and the fast-paced, shifting priorities of a start-up. Project Rigor: A track record of delivering complex technical projects with high attention to detail. Dedication: This is a mission-critical role that requires flexibility beyond the standard 8-5 to ensure system stability and project success. QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, preferred. Relevant certifications (ITIL, CompTIA certificates, Microsoft (AD/Cloud) certifications, etc.) are highly valued. Strong hands-on experience with server administration, network infrastructure, and hardware support Physical ability to manage hardware (lifting up to 50 lbs, racking servers, and equipment installation).  Technical Skills (preferred) Backup & Email Security: Veeam, Mimecast Directory & Cloud Services: Windows Active Directory (GPO, OU management), Entra/M365 (Conditional Access, Intune, Hybrid AD, SSO, Purview, Defender) Systems Management: ManageEngine (Service Desk Plus, OpManager, ADManager, ADAudit, Endpoint Central) Security & Monitoring: CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, Rapid7 (InsightVM, InsightIDR), Delinea Secret Server Infrastructure: Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, Windows 11, Ubuntu Linux, macOS, Hyper-V Scripting & Automation: PowerShell Other Tools: Fortra GoAnywhere, Zoom, certificate management Why Join Us?
