Responsibilities
- Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise.
- Develops technical solutions to complex problems.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
- Develop system requirements, perform requirements management, perform requirements verification, perform compliance assessments in support of major design reviews, and perform model-based systems engineering using technical planning; system integration, verification and validation.
- Responsible for using MBSE and Engineering tools to identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process.
Qualifications
- BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
- Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
- 5+ years of experience in MBSE
- Experience applying MBSE principles to support complex system sustainment, upgrades, and lifecycle management
- Experience performing requirements analysis, synthesis, and traceability for shall statement and supplemental fields evaluation, including test method and success criteria
- Experience with knowledge management, configuration management, and LCSP creation, including for IT programs
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Project Management
- Ability to use MBSE tools such as Cameo, to interpret and update system models such as SysML diagrams, to reflect system changes, configurations, and operational impacts
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences at varying levels
- Ability to work onsite at Peterson Space Force Base
Desired
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Confluence and Jira
- Experience with Cloud services and Cloud-native architecture patterns
- Experience working with or architecting solutions in AWS
- Experience working as a software or systems engineering and integrations lead, including cradle to the grave
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
