Job Summary:

The Broadmoor is committed to creating a culture of family and community while simultaneously providing a genuine, unforgettable experience for our guests and team. This role will play a key part in continuing to uphold our reputation and providing exceptional service to our guests.

As a member of the Room Service team, you will be responsible for receiving all incoming calls, taking guest orders, upselling orders, taking restaurant reservations after hours, recording messages, helping pre-set orders, and maintaining the stock room.

What you will be doing:

  • Answer phones and log orders for guests
  • Organize food orders in sequence according to receipt
  • Determine approximate delivery time for guest
  • Assist in pre-setting orders
  • Complete side-work as assigned by manager
  • Use point-of-sale system for inputting orders
  • Organize Room Service area
  • Help re-stock room as necessary
  • Knowledge of both 5 star and 5 diamond guest service standards
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or an equivalent experience
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Flexibility in schedule and willingness to work mornings, afternoons, evenings as well as weekend and holidays
  • Willingness and comfort being on the phone
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
