RV BODY SHOP APPRENTICE - Full-Time
We are a family-owned RV repair business looking for a motivated, dependable individual who wants to learn a skilled trade and grow with our company. You’ll work side by side with an experienced technician, learning RV body and roof repair from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with RV body repair, collision repair, and cosmetic restoration
- Prep surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Support fiberglass and structural panel repair on a variety of RV makes and models
- Help with the installation and alignment of exterior components such as doors, windows, and trim
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Learn and follow proper use of body shop tools, equipment, and materials
- Assist with quality inspections to ensure repairs meet shop standards
Requirements:
- No prior RV experience required — a willingness to learn is a must
- Basic mechanical or hands-on experience in auto body, construction, or a related trade is a plus
- Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Able to think, pay attention, and use good judgment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED preferred
