In this role, you will play a crucial part in building relationships among various government entities and industry stakeholders to foster collaboration during emergencies. Accountabilities
  • Facilitate collaboration between federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial governments and industry stakeholders.
  • Analyze and present economic impacts using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
  • Develop collaborative actions with local economies affected by disasters.
  • Include industry partners in emergency management planning and training.
  • Communicate and coordinate efforts between federal entities and local businesses.
  • Assess and improve emergency management integration processes.
  • Document best practices for standard operating procedures.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years of experience in emergency disaster management.
  • Proficient in GIS tools such as ArcGIS.
  • Familiarity with FEMA or DHS operations.
  • Knowledge of the National Response Framework (NRF) and the National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD 'PUBLIC TRUST'.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
