Jaxon is looking for a Superintendent to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $100,000-$125,000

Schedule: Full-Time

Travel Requirement: 50% or more

Security Clearance Requirement: Able to acquire Department of Defense Top-Secret Security Clearance

Required Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of superintendent experience 
  • Ability to oversee and lead multiple large-scale construction projects
  • Ability to excellently coordinate and communicate project schedules with all managers, internal departments, partners, and primes
  • Ability to maintain a 1–3 month outlook for manpower, space, tools/equipment, and material planning 
  • Ability to perform constructability and drawing reviews


Desired Job Qualifications

  • Experience managing jobs in foreign territory with elevated coordination and logistical skill
  • Represents company leadership on-site for project oversight and site management
  • Attends all required project coordination and client meetings
  • Meets with clients to discuss project requirements and progress as needed
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to Project Foremen
  • No direct reports, but responsible for field leadership and coordination while on-site
  • Coordinates with procurement about material requirements and delivery timelines
  • Works with fabrication/production teams for project tracking and scheduling
  • Coordinates with all necessary internal departments to achieve and forecast schedules
  • Communicates delays, risks, and schedule impacts to the Project Management team
  • Responsible for managing relationships with customers, primes, and trade partners while on site
  • Coordinates subcontractors both on-site and internally as needed
  • Responsible for all personnel management while on-site
  • Coordinates construction shipments and packing lists
  • Provides equipment maintenance coordination and reporting while on-site
  • Responsible for quality and safety monitoring, inspections, reporting, and compliance
  • Ensures adherence to ISO 9001 compliance requirements and procedures
  • Maintains traceability documentation requirements for products and materials throughout the project lifecycle
  • Understands project contractual requirements
  • Identifies and communicates scope creep or potential change order opportunities/issues
