Responsibilities

  • Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories. Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity.
  • Devises testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product in conjunction with product design and specifications.
  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
  • Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
  • Consults with the development and/or requirements team to coordinate and test applications.
  • Performs analysis, diagnostics and preliminary evaluations of products.
  • Develop testing procedures. Develops test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests. Implements the testing processes and ensures all test activities follow those processes.
  • Produces reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics.
  • Monitors for continual test process improvement through failure analysis, throughput analysis, yield analysis, and report to management periodically.

Qualifications

  • BS 2-4 Years, MS 0-2

  • 2+ years of experience in development testing
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Experience performing requirements analysis, synthesis, and traceability for shall statement and supplemental fields evaluation, including test method and success criteria 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience architecting complex systems in Model-Based Systems Engineering, including CAMEO or Rhapsody
  • Knowledge of DoD Instructions 5000.87 and 5000.89
  • Ability to develop and execute detailed test procedures for Development and Operations Test Events
  • Ability to build automated test scripts and custom harnesses using a tool such as Python or Cypress

Desired:

  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Confluence or Jira
  • Experience with radar system operations or radar modeling
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience interfacing with formal government test organizations, including 17TES or JITC
  • Knowledge of software deployment and troubleshooting processes in DevSecOps piprlines, including Platform 1 or DAFCw
  • Ability to run and evaluate complex simulation frameworks
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Security + Certification

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
