We are actively seeking a Client Service Representative to join our growing team and contribute to delivering exceptional client and patient care.

Compensation
  • $20.00 - $28.00/hr. based on experience and skillset
Schedule
  • Full-Time
    • 4 Day Work Week (4 x 10-hour shifts)
    • 8:00am – 6:00pm

Job Description
Client Services Representatives (CSRs) provide the first and last impression of each client’s visit to our hospital. CSRs are responsible for client care and communication, and providing excellent client service always. CSRs perform clerical duties related to veterinary care and treatment, process invoices and payments, direct incoming phone calls, and provide miscellaneous support to the veterinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Genuinely enjoys working with pet owners and helping them during the stress of a pet's illness.
  • Greet clients and pets by name
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system
  •  Foster collaborative relationships with other team members and departments
  • Has excellent client communication skills with clients as well as communicating efficiently with team members.
  • Explain invoices to show value for the care provided, stating all services and products provided before the total.
  • Collect payment when services are rendered, including making change for cash payments, processing credit cards and getting proper ID
  • Record the end of day financial balances, ensuring they are accurate
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in customer service
  • At least one year of recent experience in veterinary practice, with increasing responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology and basic clinical procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced specialty hospital environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and messaging programs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed.
  • Demonstrated compassion for patients and strong client service mindset.
  • Fluent English speaking and reading required; multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
