Position Title: Mountain Sports School Admin Coordinator – Winter Camps

Department: Mountain Sports School

Classification: Winter Seasonal, Full Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

 

 

Position Overview

To provide support to the JHMR Mountain Sports School Camp Supervisor and camp programs and provide exception guest experiences to ensure the efficient and profitable operations of the Mountain Sports School winter ski/snowboard camps.

 

 

Job Duties

  • Maintain service standards across camp meeting areas, on-mountain locations and all off-snow activities
  • Model outstanding guest service and lead by example
  • Assist MSS Camps supervisor with managing daily camp operations including guest check-in, group formation, lunch transitions, integration of camp on-snow activities and support through apres-day gatherings.
  • Assist with all camp administrative needs including sales, marketing, post-departure communications and financial reporting
  • Coordinate pre-arrival communications with camp registrants
  • Assist with camp daily schedule grid to ensure activities flow throughout the camp
  • Support MSS Camp supervisor with operational logistics for off-snow activities including hosting meet-n-greets, lunches, apres events and camp banquets.
  • Assist MSS Camps supervisor in coordinating cross departmental communications and operational needs
  • Act as a communication conduit and intermediary between campers, instructors and management as needed
  • Interface with guests to resolve concerns or issues professionally and efficiently
  • Document and support employee injury incidents in coordination with Worker’s Compensation policies and HR
  • Work closely with MSS Camp supervisor; communicate special situations, such as operational changes due to weather or reporting injuries, with MSS as necessary.
  • Work with MSS Camps supervisor to generate financial reports including but not limited to: Labor to Revenue, Product costs, Gross Income, Direct Detail
  • Monitor web presence for content accuracy and accessibility

  • Experience with SnowCloud preferred.
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred.
