Position Title: Prep Cook

Department: Food & Beverage

Classification: Winter Seasonal, Full Time

Locations: Casual and Fine Locations – Café 6311, Off-Piste Market, Rendezvous Alpine Kitchen, Casper Restaurant, Tram Dock, Piste Mountain Bistro, and Trapper’s Restaurant

Job Duties

• Prepares meal ingredients as directed by the head chef, senior chef, or other staff.
• Prepares fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepares meat by trimming, cutting, and portioning.
• Prepares simple dishes such as soups, chilis, or salads.
• Mixes or prepares condiments, dressings, and sauces.
• Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
• Restocks salad bars, grab and go shelves, condiments, and other service areas.
• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
• Takes out trash and recycling throughout service and at the end of service
• Assists with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies.
• Ensures kitchen and back of house areas are cleaned before and after service.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Works as a dishwasher as needed
• Cooks on the line as needed.
• Assists F&B Warehouse Stewards with unpacking and restocking food supplies.
