Machine Operator / Laborer

The company builds strong relationships with the employees, customers and venders alike. Triad Metals is seeking a Machine Operator to join our exceptional team in Columbia City, Indiana.

Successful Candidates will be expected to:
- Operate a variety of processing equipment.
- Operate a variety of material handling equipment.
- Read and interpret simple blueprints.
- Use measuring tools such as a tape measure, micrometer, and box caliper.
- Convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions and have the ability to add and subtract fractions.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment.
- Meet all quality assurance standards.
- Follow all safety and operating instructions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in operating a plasma/oxy-fuel plate burning machine.
- Experience in operating a robotic thermal cutting machine.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt position which includes medical, dental, vision benefits, Paid Time Off, voluntary benefits, and company matched 401(k). Monthly Incentive and Year End Bonus' available.
Physical Demands: The nature of this position also requires the employee to perform a wide range of physical activities, from pushing and pulling, lifting and carrying heavy objects (50 lbs or less), to sitting, climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending and handling with repetitive hand and finger movements. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Ability to spend 80%-90% of time on your feet
