Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill an ASPHALT PLANT UTILITY/ GROUND TECHNICIAN position for our Pottsville asphalt plant, located in Lewisburg, TN. Some night work will be required. The successful candidate for this role will be self-motivated and have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. 

JOB DETAILS:

  • Full-time
  • Day shift; some night work required
  • Location: Lewisburg, TN
  • Wages starting at $21.00/hr

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Primary duties will include support and clean-up around the asphalt plant
  • General maintenance of plant and equipment 
  • Utilizing heavy equipment in performing jobs and moving materials around the plant, as needed
  • Candidate will be cross trained in all areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
  • Focus on Safety Excellence.
  • Must work well with others.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include Plant Clean-up, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment and Machinery.
  • Ability to work in a variety of conditions.
  • Willing to work weekends and long hours when needed.
  • Willing to be flexible when called upon to perform other assignments or to assist in other areas at the discretion of management.
