HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic / Fabricator 

W.B. Guimarin & Company is seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our growing team. $18–$23 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork, fittings, hangers, and related mechanical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
• Measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Work closely with foremen, technicians, plumbers, and other trades on commercial construction projects
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HVAC sheet metal fabrication or mechanical construction experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand HVAC layouts
• Experience fabricating and assembling ductwork and sheet metal components
• Knowledge of HVAC materials, and building codes
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, brakes, shears, and other fabrication equipment
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Stable work history and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, kneel, crawl, and work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely navigate active construction sites
