Janitorial Supervisor - PM Shift, Part-Time

What You Will Be Doing:

We are looking for a supervisor to help manage their shift and assist the janitorial staff. You will ensure the smooth running of operations and be responsible for your own set of janitorial duties. The supervisor also ensures customer satisfaction by assisting in meeting target goals and deadlines. You will foster a safe work environment that encourages janitorial staff members to comply with the company’s policies and procedures.

Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead yourshiftbyassisting themanager in ensuring theday’sscope of workgetsdone.
• Ensures that the assigned janitorial duties are completed. 
• Assistthemanager inapplyingwork standards for janitorial employeesin accordance withcompany practices.
• Monitors, measures,and reports to themanager on performance during the shift.
• Effectively communicates daily assignments and messages from the manager tothe janitorial staff.
• Followsguidelines for proper maintenance of all equipment.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ensure that health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during theshiftand all matters relating to this area are dealt with effectively and efficiently using the resources within the company.
• Ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

• Respond to customer complaints ensuring proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Other duties,as assigned bymanager.

Supervisor Requirements & Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of janitorial experience. (Required) 
• At least 1 year of lead or supervisor experience. (Preferred) 
• Possessesa positive attitude and workswell with other team members.
• Works wellunsupervised.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Followsdirection and asks questions when needed. 
• Proficient using computers and MS Office Products(Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. –  We Use E-Verify
