This position works from home. The candidate must be able to work remotely with access to high speed internet living in and servicing the State of Georgia.  Home office equipment provided.

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.  Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.

What You Will Be Doing:

Oversee recruitment, development, growth, and performance management of independent agencies in the assigned territory. Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, expand market presence, and promote the company’s agency opportunity. Serve as primary contact for independent agencies and manage relationships, monitor industry trends, and partner cross-functionally to achieve growth and profitability goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Working knowledge of insurance product portfolio.
• Experience with underwriting, claims, risk assessment, recruiting methodologies, and performance management.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to assimilate data from various sources.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience typically required.
• Relevant industry designations preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
