Job DetailsJob Location: Chapel Hill, 1605 - Columbia, MO 65203ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Motivate, communicate, and provide ongoing support to Program Managers to ensure positive outcomes and sustain quality care of individuals while managing the daily operations of the Community Living Program. Ensure that the Person-Centered Planning process is adhered to by reviewing daily logs, monthly reports, annual assessments, and IPs and attending any necessary Individual Plan meetings. Oversee the rights, financial, health, safety/medical needs of each individual are met. Review team payroll and ensure timely completion bi-weekly. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of Program Managers and Community Living RNs. Ensure adherence to all applicable DMH/CMRO, CARF standards, DOL regulations, and the Organization's policies/procedures. Visit each residence at least once every quarter to ensure quality care is being provided. Maintain ongoing professional communication and attend all required meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor the use of overtime and approved home staffing patterns. Report accurate attendance and create accurate home staffing patterns for billing purposes. Assist in monitoring monthly variance reporting documentation. Review and process monthly documentation, such as monthly reports, Nursing reviews, drills, MARS, financial records, and electronic records. Compile data for annual outcome reports. Assist with completing HRST information as needed. Create training specific to the needs of individuals and staff. Develop program growth by serving as a liaison for potential referrals going through the intake process and ensuring a smooth transition into the program. Secure affordable housing for existing and new referrals. Complete Event Reporting per DMH guidelines and complete direct entry of events. Assist with planning group event opportunities for individuals in the Community Living Program.   ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide on-call coverage. Provide direct care coverage in homes, if needed. Maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, NCI, Medication Administration, Abuse/Neglect Prevention, Positive Behavior Support, HIPAA, HCBS, and any others required by the agency or supervisor. Accept responsibility for completing in-service prior to the expiration date. Other duties as assigned.   Qualifications   Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job: Excellent communication, written, and organization skills. Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, Paycom, StationMD, and Therap. Ability to supervise, coach, and train staff and management. Proficient in making decisions independently in accordance with program and agency standards. Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job: B.S. or B.A. in a related field and/or 3 years of experience with individuals with DD. Supervisory experience required. Weight Lifting (or other physical) Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to bend, stoop, or perform other physical duties as the Community Living functions require. Ability to sit for significant periods of time. Ability to stand or walk at a quick pace for several hours at a time. Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required: Class E Missouri Driver’s license and proof of car insurance. Successful completion of criminal history background check and driving record review. Qualified as a Degreed Professional Manager.
