Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - Lancaster, PA 17601Job Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am to 3:30pmFacility Maintenance Support position available for The Jay Group a 3PL company located in Lancaster, PA. This position performs maintenance functions between in the Lancaster facility.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a distribution or a fulfillment center.  Performs preventive maintenance tasks for electric, plumbing, HVAC, lawn & tree care, housekeeping, elevators, powered industrial equipment, fire and security, fire suppression sprinklers, pest control, and snow removal at Lancaster area facilities. Observes proper lock-out, tag-out procedures. Performs tasks with outside vendors to complete preventative maintenance and larger projects that cannot be handled by the internal Maintenance Team.  Completes tasks to support Maintenance requests submitted by employees in all departments of the company and for any companies that lease space from Jay Group. Removes equipment requiring repair from use, effectively repairs equipment, and tests equipment prior to re-introduction to active production. Performs inspections of fire extinguishers, pest control units, facility temperature control units, and sprinkler systems as required within the facilities. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Experience w/conveyors, photo-eyes, scanners and imagers, basic warehouse equip. including stretch wrappers, pallet jacks, bailers, compactors and PIT's required Experience with PLC's preferred.  Ability to communicate findings of inspections and maintenance issues with team members of all levels.  Remain detail oriented while multi-tasking What does it take to be a Jay Group Team Member?
