Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - Lancaster, PA 17601Job Shift: Sun. - Thurs 10:00 pm to 6:00 amFull-time Forklift Operators are an essential part of the Jay Group team. In this position you will be responsible for moving materials throughout the warehouse to support Operation goals. Qualified applicants must have experience operating a Cherry/Order Pickers and will be trained to operate a Turret Truck. Apply today to work with a dedicated team in a clean warehouse! $1,500 SIGN ON BONUS paid out at 90 days ($500), 6 months ($500) and 1 year ($500).   Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 10 pm to 6:00 am - must be available to work overtime as needed. Forklift Operator Job Duties: Unloads materials out of vehicles/trailers using equipment. Operates equipment including, but not limited to: Tow motors, High-Reach trucks, Cherry/Order Pickers, and Turret trucks to move material from pallets, trays, racks or shelves. Loads vehicles/trailers by installing strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Forklift Operator will update WMS accurately on equipment and will use RF scanning devices. Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment, including attending training, following prescribed safety regulations, and maintaining appropriate safety inspection logs. Other duties as assigned. Overtime will be required during peak season November-December and as required in this position. Qualifications Qalifications: At least six (6) months’ experience operating high reach equipment. Desire to learn to operate a turret truck. Must be at least 16 years of age. Punctuality, reliability, and being prepared for work. Have a reliable means of transportation to comply with shift hours. Applicants will be required to pass an assessment on high reach equipment prior to job offer. Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen. Ability to work legally in the United States.
