ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Career Planning & Exploration: Facilitate person-centered career plans, exploration activities, and support employment goals.
  • Skill Development & Job Support: Provide prevocational training, job search assistance, onboarding, and retention support, including accommodations and workplace independence.
  • Individualized Supports: Deliver services tailored to individual needs and provide feedback on strategies.
  • Documentation & Outcomes: Complete timely records, track progress, and ensure successful job seeker outcomes.

Qualifications


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Communicate effectively, including negotiation, advocacy, and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate and professionally written documentation.
  • Apply appropriate training techniques for individuals with disabilities.
  • Use computer programs, including Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and online documentation systems.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with job seekers, staff, and employers.
  • Make independent decisions within program and organizational guidelines.
  • Manage time effectively.
  • Travel as required based on caseload.

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 18+ years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license (ability to obtain class E license within 14 days of hire)
  • Proof of vehicle insurance
  • Successful completion of background checks and reference verification
  • Work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand or sit for several hours and bend, stoop
