Our Team Members guide our customers to select not only healthy food they can trust, but products for wellbeing and the household that are held to the same high standards as all of the food on our shelves.     Kitchen Lead Contributions Staff Development: Supports Team Lead in coaching, training, and developing Team Members in the Prepared Foods Department. Maintains a positive and professional work environment. Clearly defines and communicates expectations through punch lists and communication logs. Production: Supervises and participates in the production of in-house prepared foods, ensuring proper presentation and display of high-quality, pre-made items. Maintains consistent quality control standards. Operational Tasks: Responsible for ordering and receiving deliveries; scheduling; reviewing daily and weekly sales and movement reports, shrink reports, and emails; responding accordingly; and conducting monthly department inventory. Merchandising: Develops and maintains an attractive sales floor by implementing Earth Fare merchandising guidelines and standards. Department Conditions: Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the department, including all fixtures, storage areas, work stations, freezers, and coolers.   Required Knowledge and Experience   Experience: Previous experience in prepared foods, kitchen operations, or food service required; leadership or lead experience preferred Knowledge: Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Skills: Strong communication, organization, time management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Leadership Attributes: Ability to coach, train, and positively influence Team Members while maintaining accountability Commitment to Values: Passion for natural and organic foods and alignment with Earth Fare’s mission and values       Physical Demands Lifting: Up to 50 pounds Reaching: Frequent reaching at and above shoulder level and below waist level Standing: Prolonged periods during food preparation and service Pulling/Pushing: Moderate; maneuvering carts, racks, and equipment as needed Works in a fast-paced, production-oriented kitchen and retail environment Exposure to temperature variations, including coolers, freezers, and hot food preparation areas   Why Work for Earth Fare?
