Job Title: Landscaping Shop Manager / Mechanic
Location: Jefferson City
Pay: $20–$30 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM; occasional weekends as needed
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shop Manager/Mechanic to oversee the maintenance and repair of our landscaping equipment and vehicles. This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) and company vehicles
Manage shop operations, including tool organization, inventory, and cleanliness
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, blade sharpening, filter replacements, etc.)
Track equipment condition and schedule preventative maintenance
Order parts and maintain inventory of supplies
Ensure all equipment is safe and job-ready each day
Coordinate with crew leaders and management on equipment needs and repairs
Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a small engine mechanic and/or shop manager
Knowledge of landscaping equipment and basic vehicle repair
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work long hours and occasional weekends
Good organizational and communication skills
Valid driver’s license (required)
