JOB DESCRIPTION

Faber and Brand, LLC, a multi-state law firm focusing on creditors’ rights, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter in their Legal Assistant Department, as a full time employee. Our firm is a fun, casual, and engaging workplace. We offer flexible scheduling, an in-depth training programming, room for advancement for motivated candidates, and a generous compensation package. Prior law firm experience is not necessary as we provide on-site training. 


PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Working closely with Attorneys 
  2. Handling correspondence from Debtors, Attorneys, and Courts
  3. Drafting various motions and other documents 
  4. Daily personal tasks
  5. Assisting and monitoring multiple files

REPORTS TO:

Manager of  Legal Assistants

Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or its equivalent. 
  2. High degree of proficiency in office procedures, typing and machines. 
  3. Knowledge and practical experience regarding basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.  
  4. Strong data entry skills and the ability to multi-task.
  5. High degree of attention to detail.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
  7. Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations. 
  8. Must be willing to communicate via email and telephone with Courts and Attorneys. 
  9. Must maintain confidentiality at all times. 
  10. Organized
