Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors pumps conveyors belts fans air conditioners etc. Â Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble. Â Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Â Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary. Â Cleans and lubricates parts. Â Orders replacement parts. Inspects completed repairs. Â Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Â Requisitions new parts and equipment. 3-5 years of experience. Â Duties are frequently nonroutine.
